Let's take a look the whole assembly inside the Google Pixel 10 as IFixit once again showed us the step by step teardown guide. Root Samsung Galaxy S3 i747M Bell,Rogers,Telus Sasktel runs in Jelly Bean 4.1.2 I747MVLDMF1 (Updated)
Here's the best root method guide for Canadian Samsung Galaxy S3 i747M which has already upgraded and currently runs in I747MVLDLF1 Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) recently. The best part of this rooting process is that - it will not trip the binary counter from the phone's security system. Minimizing the hassles from resetting it once if you want to unroot it or completely return it back to its original factory firmware - for future use in-case in need of warranty.
I already mentioned this rooting guide from the previous ICS build I747MVLALE8, which is a safest method to avoid the risk of losing the phone's IMEI number.
So, again this root method which already proven works on Bell, Rogers, Telus and Sasktel - Canada version of Samsung Galaxy S3 SGH-I747M. The idea of this rooting technique is simply by injecting a rooted kernel image from the official released firmware. Thanks and all credits must go to mrRobinson (XDA- highly recognized developer) from United States and to all Canadian Galaxy S3 advanced users who already tried out this rooting method.
Update: Root on Android 4.4.2 KitKat I747MVLUFNF2 & I747MVLUFNE6: Read this guide>>

Please can you help me how do i unroot from this please i need your help please reply
ReplyDeleteJust download and copy the stock image into your phone
DeleteThis is a very vague procedure. Examples:
ReplyDeleteWhere should the stock_root69.tar be extracted to? The PC Desktop, the phone card? Where?
Example 2 you state "'HOME' + 'VOLUME DOWN' buttons and press the 'POWER' button for about 2 seconds until a WARNING! Screen appears. Press the 'VOLUME UP' button to continue or enter Download Mode.".
OK. But when you press the "volume UP' button do you continue to keep pressing the HOME and POWER buttons at the same time, or do you let them go? vague.
Example 3: Once you open ODIN and want to load root69.stock_I747MVLALH1.tar, how do you find that file? Does ODIN find it for you?
Allan, you probably shouldn't be doing this if you have to ask these questions. I'm not trying to be rude or talk down, but extracting a file and then finding it is a very basic computer procedure and if you don't understand it, rooting your phone could pose many issues for you. There are places in most cities where you can have it done for you cheaply.
DeleteAllan just got pwnd
DeleteThis was a very quick and easy root compared to others ive done in the past. Everything works successfully, thanks for the post.
ReplyDeletehow do you confirm that once the entire procedure is completed that you have root access to your phone ...after the reboot i went to the file browser on the phone to see if i can see any \sys or \root folders but nothing.... some other forums mentioned that in the app list you should see a "Superuser" app ... i wanted to find the framework-res.apk tar any help
ReplyDeletePerm Mirror: Bell I747MVLALH1 Download does not work, i tried to download twice, and root69.tar from the .7z file can't extract. could you give me an other link? thank you
ReplyDeleteWorked perfectly for me.
ReplyDeleteThank god Odin automates everything and thanks to the people who created the root injected roms.
hey i have a rogers s3 but i accidentally downloaded the bell mirror and rooted my phone will that fuck up the phone? or should i unroot with rogers original then re-root with rogers mirror?
ReplyDeleteThanks guy worked like a charm +1
ReplyDeleteAny telus user try this?
ReplyDeleteyou say we have to extract the root file from the .7z file below. There's no .7z file below, only above. Since i downloaded the pre-rooted rom i can't seem to extract the stock_root69.tar. Help?
ReplyDeleteNever mind. I have resolved the issue, firstly, its the stock_root66.tar file and secondly, its extracted from the download link ABOVE not BELOW! Anyway thanks for the root guide, everything went smoothly.:-)
ReplyDeleteThe Rom from Telus is the same with the Rom from Koodo?
ReplyDeleteWhere can I find a stock ROM for Koodo version?
Thanks.
Thank you so much for this awesome root guide. It worked the first time and it's fast.
ReplyDeleteWill this procedure wipe my phone?
ReplyDeleteYes. Make sure you've got everything backed up.
DeleteWill you be getting the 4.1.2 update and publishing that as well, with both stock and root injected?
ReplyDeleteHow do you backup before flashing to this ROM? My Backup Pro?
ReplyDeletegreat job thank you! roger carrier here
ReplyDeleteThe download for Rogers doesn't work, constantly says can't extract
ReplyDeleteworked on my telus galaxy s3.
ReplyDeletesomething I noted in my root: the TELUS image upon extraction had a .tar.md5 extension, but odin recognised it fine, and the root worked no problems. No data wipe on the phone (all my files and setting same as before), no flash counter trip, and everything is getting root permissions just as it should.
thanks for the guide.
Will this method of rooting also install superuser?
ReplyDeleteBrett Van Beek said : Will this procedure wipe my phone?
ReplyDeleteThen TrainAss replied : Yes. Make sure you've got everything backed up.
And then, Andy Plater replied : No data wipe on the phone (all my files and setting same as before), no flash counter trip, and everything is getting root permissions just as it should.
So, does this method will wipe out my data & settings or not? There's no mention about it in the article.
If yes : what is the best method to backup and restore everything?
If not : I can then root without minding?
Thanks a lot
Just ton confirm that I'm on Telebec (a sub company from Bell in Quebec), I've rooted following this guide and it worked, without wiping out my phone, I'm now rooted.
ReplyDeleteThanks
Thank's for the heads-up Patrick...

ReplyDeleteAnywhere inside your computer, either in the desktop, documents, in another folder as long you knew where to find it when you run Odin or clicking the PDA button. You can use, winzip, 7zip or any decompressing tool installed in your computer.
Deleteafter 10 minutes Odin said it failed. I did everything else correctly. Any thoughts?
ReplyDeleteDid everything correctly. Odin worked for 10 mins, then said it Failed.
