Those who still got the two years old Samsung Galaxy S2 in Australia will now finally taste the goodies of the Android 4.1.2 Jelly bean update after keeping the days of waiting. Samsung has began rolling out the Android 4.1.2 in selected countries earlier in February, but this rolled out was in phases and that keeping too much slow, and only this day has reaches to Australian users? Sigh..
Jelly Bean may now take over to the Gingerbread, and it brings new features such as Google Now, Sizable Pop-up play screen, Reorganized settings menu, New Notifications bar added 2 Home screen modes and enhancements for better performance. This update is now on Samsung Kies server, and will be rolling out anytime soon.

There are two 4.1.2 firmware builds we spotted from Samsung Kies server earlier, and those builds confirms for unbranded and Optus Galaxy S2 GT-I9100. So, better check it out - run Kies in your computer or check for any OTA update notifications. Go to Settings > About device > Check for update.
In addition, there some reports that the Samsung Galaxy S2 will continue to receive OS update up to Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, too good to be true but again the biggest question is WHEN? Is this for real Samsung?
