High-End Android Phones Powered with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

Some smartphones featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 have already been launched in China, with many expecting a global release shortly after. A growing list of flagship smartphones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which was officially announced in late September 2025. The chipset is anticipated to power top-tier Android devices throughout late 2025 and 2026, with several phones already confirmed or heavily rumored. Xiaomi 17 series: The Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max were confirmed as the first phones to use this chip. LG Brings Optimus L9 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Update with Unlock Bootloader Option

LG has just began rolling out the long awaited Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean upgrade for LG Optimus L9. Earlier, the European variants of LG Optimus L9 P760 has started receiving the official software update V20B, other specific Optimus L9 models like the P765, P768 and P769 might as well follows. The good news about this update is that  it's has now came up with an unlocked bootloader unlike the previous Ice Cream Sandwich version before which is certainly locked.

LG says that this 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update can be downloaded and installed by LG Optimus L9 owners via FOTA by simply hitting Settings – About phone – Software Update – Check for Updates or by manual method using LG software update tool.

The paint chipping issue reported by some Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 users appears to be a recurring problem that was also seen with the Z Fold 6. Despite users claiming they have not dropped their devices, paint delamination is occurring on the anodized aluminum body. Samsung’s support page for the Z Fold 6 suggests that poorly grounded third-party chargers can cause leakage currents, damaging the anodized finish and leading to paint chipping.
