High-End Android Phones Powered with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

Some smartphones featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 have already been launched in China, with many expecting a global release shortly after. A growing list of flagship smartphones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which was officially announced in late September 2025. The chipset is anticipated to power top-tier Android devices throughout late 2025 and 2026, with several phones already confirmed or heavily rumored. Xiaomi 17 series: The Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max were confirmed as the first phones to use this chip. Verizon Galaxy Stellar Gets Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update JZO54K.I200VRBMA1

Verizon has started rolling the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Update for Samsung Galaxy Stellar. The software version JZO54K.I200VRBMA1 is now live via OTA (Over The Air) as we speak. This Jelly bean update will add more features such Google Now and also brings support for 64GB SDcards, improved networking and removes the Verizon app store.



Samsung Galaxy Stellar is the latest Verizon Wireless smartphone to be upgraded to Android™ 4.1, Jelly Bean. The software upgrade will be pushed to customers in phases starting Monday, March 4. Customers can also manually download the upgrade through the settings menu starting that afternoon.
Jelly Bean includes enhancements and new features like Google Now as well as a new notification panel that displays missed calls and emails and lets users return the call or email right from the notification. The paint chipping issue reported by some Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 users appears to be a recurring problem that was also seen with the Z Fold 6. Despite users claiming they have not dropped their devices, paint delamination is occurring on the anodized aluminum body. Samsung’s support page for the Z Fold 6 suggests that poorly grounded third-party chargers can cause leakage currents, damaging the anodized finish and leading to paint chipping. This is why Samsung advises using only official chargers. However, since at least one affected user on Reddit reported using an official 25W Samsung charger, it raises concerns that the problem might not be solely due to third-party chargers.
