Some smartphones featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 have already been launched in China, with many expecting a global release shortly after. A growing list of flagship smartphones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which was officially announced in late September 2025. The chipset is anticipated to power top-tier Android devices throughout late 2025 and 2026, with several phones already confirmed or heavily rumored. Xiaomi 17 series: The Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max were confirmed as the first phones to use this chip. Bell, Rogers and Telus Samsung Galaxy Note Official Jelly Bean update Rolls Out

The first generation Samsung Galaxy Note in Canada will now also enjoys the long-awaited Jelly Bean upgrade. Earlier, today, the official Jelly Bean updates happens to be already available via Samsung Kies server. This of course rolled out for Bell, Rogers and Telus Samsung Galaxy Note also (SGH-I717R/M/D). Noting that this update already announced earlier this year coming for the month of May. This update came over just a day ahead after seeing AT&T's release on their own Galaxy Note variant.

The paint chipping issue reported by some Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 users appears to be a recurring problem that was also seen with the Z Fold 6. Despite users claiming they have not dropped their devices, paint delamination is occurring on the anodized aluminum body. Samsung’s support page for the Z Fold 6 suggests that poorly grounded third-party chargers can cause leakage currents, damaging the anodized finish and leading to paint chipping. This is why Samsung advises using only official chargers.
