Sony Xperia Z and Xperia ZL Official Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Update Begins Rolling

Sony has started rolling out the Xperia Z official Jelly Bean Android 4.2.2 base software update earlier today. The said released was reported began in Spain, and it comes with the software build version number to 10.3.A.0.423 which also the same build version that was also rolled out with the Xperia ZL. The said software update is now available using the Sony's PC Companion tool while other users may also upgrade manually using flashtool and the 10.3.A.0.423 software build FTF file. US WiFi Version of Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Receives New Software Update build to N5110UEEMF1

Several owners of the Wifi version Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 (GT-N5110) in the USA has started receiving another software update earlier today. The said update is still based on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) and it is now offers to "N5110UEEMF1" build. So far, there's no official changelog we can gather about how this new software update build may brings but according to some folks that has managed to install this update appears only as "improved stability" but there also offers some minor changes. Some users noticed a new design revamps of the home screen's status bar and the automatic rotation of the screen began to move linearly. The screen rotation will now switched in less than a second when changing the orientation of the settings. Xperia Z Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Firmware version 10.3.A.0.407 Leaked

An unexpected Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean firmware for the Xperia Z (C6602/C6603) has leaked today. Again, XDA's highly recognized developer [Doomlord] has brought the firmware build version 10.3.A.0.407. Although, this firmware is only a beta release or a test firmware build but this one truly showed that Sony are now cooking the official build that may officially rolled-out soon. This leaked 10.3.A.0.407 test firmware can be manually installed to the Xperia Z devices with already unlocked bootloaders, and "this firmware may not have the same features as it looks like when the final and official build that soon to be release by Sony". HTC One Android 4.2.2 OTA Update Expected to Come, But Nothing Yet

There has been several reports this past few days that the said OTA update is coming for the HTC One today.  Basically, all of this reports turns-out to be unconfirmed details pointing to a non-official HTC announcement. Again, there is no certain official reports about this Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update from HTC's side. Along with some folks at XDA-developers forum we have been patiently waiting and too excited to receive this OTA update, but as of now there is nothing yet. So, just stay tuned or keep an eye of it this coming few days, even weeks or months. via XDA

Xperia S, SL and Acro S New Jelly Bean Update to version 6.2.B.0.211

There's another Jelly Bean update currently push on Sony Xperia S, SL and Acro S devices. The new update has a build version number of 6.2.B.0.211 and its still based on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. This is the second official Jelly Bean that has been rolled right after the initial released of the build numbers 6.2.B.0.200.  This update is now confirmed in some countries in Asia, Middle East and some part of Europe regions.   So, for those who owned the Xperia S, SL or the Acro S should be seeing this update coming to your devices. Jelly Bean Update I777UCMD8 on AT&T's Samsung Galaxy S2 SGH-I777 Finally Arrived

The AT&T's Samsung Galaxy S2 SGH-I777 has turned out to be the last Galaxy S2 variant receives its Jelly bean upgrade. Among all other Samsung Galaxy S2 across US carriers and international variants have been updated to Jelly Bean, but AT&T's Galaxy S2 SGH-I777 has left behind for the past few months. Galaxy S4 LTE I9505 Gets New OTA Update to UBMEA brings Camera improvements, Move to SD, and HDR video recording

Samsung has just started to push the latest firmware update on Samsung Galaxy S4, the LTE version GT-I9505 built with Qualcomm processors. The new software update labeled with build number I9505XXUBMEA and based on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean version is currently hitting Germany. This update is more on improvements and enhancement to fix previous issues, it also comes with new Camera enhancements. Some new features is the 'Move to SD' that allows users to move files to the SD card, the video recording is also added with option to record high HDR videos. Again, this update is now live from Samsung firmware server and only available in Germany for now, other countries may follow soon.
