Some smartphones featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 have already been launched in China, with many expecting a global release shortly after. A growing list of flagship smartphones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which was officially announced in late September 2025. The chipset is anticipated to power top-tier Android devices throughout late 2025 and 2026, with several phones already confirmed or heavily rumored. Galaxy S4 LTE I9505 Gets New OTA Update to UBMEA brings Camera improvements, Move to SD, and HDR video recording
Samsung has just started to push the latest firmware update on Samsung Galaxy S4, the LTE version GT-I9505 built with Qualcomm processors. The new software update labeled with build number I9505XXUBMEA and based on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean version is currently hitting Germany. This update is more on improvements and enhancement to fix previous issues, it also comes with new Camera enhancements. Some new features is the 'Move to SD' that allows users to move files to the SD card, the video recording is also added with option to record high HDR videos.
Again, this update is now live from Samsung firmware server and only available in Germany for now, other countries may follow soon. To update the Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-i9505 LTE, it can be downloaded via OTA (over the air) or by using Kies while connecting the phone to the computer.
