High-End Android Phones Powered with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

Some smartphones featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 have already been launched in China, with many expecting a global release shortly after. A growing list of flagship smartphones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which was officially announced in late September 2025. The chipset is anticipated to power top-tier Android devices throughout late 2025 and 2026, with several phones already confirmed or heavily rumored. Xiaomi 17 series: The Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max were confirmed as the first phones to use this chip. AOKP Milestone 2 Build Finally Release Packed with a Bunch of Features, And Added More Supported Devices

The long-awaited update from AOKP team's Android 4.2 Jelly Bean Milestone 1, finally here comes the Milestone 2.  Despite of delays due to the fact that the guys has needed to sit back and relax for a while and enjoys some summer vacation, the AOKP team has happily announced that the Milestone 2 has successfully finished and are now officially rolled out to over 44 devices. Yes! The total now reaches to 44 Android devices, since there are more devices has been added on the support list.

The paint chipping issue reported by some Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 users appears to be a recurring problem that was also seen with the Z Fold 6. Despite users claiming they have not dropped their devices, paint delamination is occurring on the anodized aluminum body. Samsung’s support page for the Z Fold 6 suggests that poorly grounded third-party chargers can cause leakage currents, damaging the anodized finish and leading to paint chipping. This is why Samsung advises using only official chargers. However, since at least one affected user on Reddit reported using an official 25W Samsung charger, it raises concerns that the problem might not be solely due to third-party chargers.
