US and International Samsung Galaxy S4 Variants Received July OS Update with Knox Technology, Several Fixes and Improvements
Both US carriers AT&T, Verizon and Sprint and likewise the international variants of Samsung Galaxy S4 Android devices has started receiving another firmware update this July 2013.
The US Samsung Galaxy S4 variants received an update that includes the Samsung KNOX security, this will add a Secure Boot status from the device. It has also the ability to move application to SD card or any downloaded apps from market and directly install it through the onto the SD card.
This 'Move-apps-to-SD' feature is very useful for users for its saves more extra storage space from the phone's memory. Aside from added security enhancement, there are also several improvements and fixes added unto it. Some noticeable changes includes Voice Enhancements, Audio Clippings, Wallpapers were re-vamped and some fixes of any known issues like 'Messaging Has Stopped' error also resolved. Some other features may varies from each other according to which carrier specific Samsung Galaxy S4 has bought from - AT&T, Verizon and Sprint.
The international variant of Samsung Galaxy S4 non LTE (GT-I9500) has also started receiving update in selected countries over Europe and Asia. update has been reported that it brings fixes on several issues like the weather widgets re-draw problem.
