High-End Android Phones Powered with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

Some smartphones featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 have already been launched in China, with many expecting a global release shortly after. A growing list of flagship smartphones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which was officially announced in late September 2025. The chipset is anticipated to power top-tier Android devices throughout late 2025 and 2026, with several phones already confirmed or heavily rumored. Xiaomi 17 series: The Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max were confirmed as the first phones to use this chip. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Receives an Official Upgrade to 4.2.2 Jelly Bean

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 has started receiving software upgrade to Android 4.2.2. The firmware build comes in build numbers P3100XXDMG6. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 flagship has been released originally runs on 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich and then later updated to 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 Jelly Bean for over a year now. The update has been seen in France and probably will arrive and available worldwide soon. Samsung has begun rolling out the 4.2.2 update on selected devices which took the Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus first on the list, yup! 4.2.2 update.
Well, maybe some of you might wonder, 'what about the 2012 flagships, the Galaxy S3 and the Note 2? That of course is another issues Samsung might need to explain this to owners of such devices. But some reports has been spreading that the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 will automatically bump up to 4.3 leaving the 4.2 behind. If that is true enough, the question is when?


So, for those who got the Samsung Galaxy tab 2 7.0 3G (GT-P3100) should wait the arrival of this update in your specific regions. France owners are the lucky ones to taste this update first, and we are looking forward how this update performs and what it looks like. You should get your Kies ready, and chill out that finally the 4.2.2 is coming within one step ahead for grab.

The paint chipping issue reported by some Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 users appears to be a recurring problem that was also seen with the Z Fold 6. Despite users claiming they have not dropped their devices, paint delamination is occurring on the anodized aluminum body. Samsung’s support page for the Z Fold 6 suggests that poorly grounded third-party chargers can cause leakage currents, damaging the anodized finish and leading to paint chipping.
