Some smartphones featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 have already been launched in China, with many expecting a global release shortly after. A growing list of flagship smartphones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which was officially announced in late September 2025. The chipset is anticipated to power top-tier Android devices throughout late 2025 and 2026, with several phones already confirmed or heavily rumored. Xiaomi 17 series: The Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max were confirmed as the first phones to use this chip. Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 Now Available at US Cellular

US Cellular has officially announced the availability of the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 beginning on September 17. The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 is marked with a price tag of $149.99 for a 2-year contract after an instant rebate. Early birds who can make an order starting today can also to pick it up in stores within this week. This new handheld device is designed with minimal 6.3-inch 720p display to make it handy for everyone else who wants a tablet and phone in one packaged. Not only that Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 is also powered with 1.7GHz dual-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM and running Android 4.2.2 and can be upgradeable to Android 4.3 and Android 4.4.

We've all been anticipating the release of the stable version of Samsung's One UI 8 beta program, which is based on Android 16. The paint chipping issue reported by some Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 users appears to be a recurring problem that was also seen with the Z Fold 6. Despite users claiming they have not dropped their devices, paint delamination is occurring on the anodized aluminum body. Samsung’s support page for the Z Fold 6 suggests that poorly grounded third-party chargers can cause leakage currents, damaging the anodized finish and leading to paint chipping. This is why Samsung advises using only official chargers. However, since at least one affected user on Reddit reported using an official 25W Samsung charger, it raises concerns that the problem might not be solely due to third-party chargers.
