High-End Android Phones Powered with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

Some smartphones featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 have already been launched in China, with many expecting a global release shortly after. A growing list of flagship smartphones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which was officially announced in late September 2025. The chipset is anticipated to power top-tier Android devices throughout late 2025 and 2026, with several phones already confirmed or heavily rumored. Install SkyNote 4.3 Edition on AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (SGH-I317)

SkyNote 4.3 edition is now available for AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II (SGH-I317) and there are bunch of new added flavors you can now enjoy and get used the full features of Android 4.3. SKnyNote has been developed by [seanzscreams] and continuously dominating to many Galaxy Note 2 I317 owners.  Since the SkyNote is based on stock firmware, all interesting features are still intact, including those features that were intentionally disabled and diminished all unneeded apps. But again, this is not about the SkyNote 4.3 review, I'm just introducing to anyone else mostly an Android tinkerers like me that might interested about this ROM.

To those who might already installed the previous SkyNote version on now you can  bump-ups to the latest SkyNote 4.3  Edition, the new update is basically based on newest Android 4.3 firmware, head over to XDA-developer original thread. Below are just some useful hints for beginners that might wanna try this ROM and install on their Galaxy Note 2 I317.

Root Your Galaxy Note 2 I317

1) First back-up your important files, including contacts, photos, messages apps, and more. Then recharge your device at-least around 50% or much better to the fullest as possible.
Download the CF-Auto Root file from here.
Download Odin from here.
Download USB driver from here.
2) Install the USB driver then unzip or extract the downloaded CF-AUTO Root. Then Run Odin downloader tool on your computer desktop.
3) Reboot your Galaxy Note 2 into download mode. Press and hold (Volume Down+Home key+Power) button at the same time, then press Volume Up to continue into download mode. Then connect your device to the computer via USB cable.
4) Now click on Odin's PDA button, then load the CF-Auto-Root-xxx.tar.md5 file. Then simply hit the "START" button to begin flashing the root file.
5) Wait and let the flashing successfully completes and then let it reboots. Then disconnect your device from the computer.
6) Update your SuperSU if it prompts you to update or you are something like getting binary file error, you can grab the latest SuperSU from PlayStore.

Install TWRP recovery on your Galaxy Note 2 I317

You can easily install the TWRP recovery once your device is already rooted, simply download the Rommanager apps,  head-over to Playstore then install it just like any other apps.

Flash the SkyNote 4.3 Edition on your Galaxy Note 2 I317
1) Copy the SkyNote 4.3 ROM in your Note 2 SD card.
2) Reboot into recovery mode, Press Volume Down+Home key+Power button.
3) Select Factory Data Reset, Wipe System, Dalvik and Cache
4) Select "Install ROM from SD card.
5) Browse to the SkyNote 4.3 Edition ROM, then hit install.
6) Reboot the device.

We've all been anticipating the release of the stable version of Samsung's One UI 8 beta program, which is based on Android 16. Paint On Galaxy Z Fold7 Phones Is Already Peeling Off, According To Consumers

The paint chipping issue reported by some Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 users appears to be a recurring problem that was also seen with the Z Fold 6. Despite users claiming they have not dropped their devices, paint delamination is occurring on the anodized aluminum body. Samsung’s support page for the Z Fold 6 suggests that poorly grounded third-party chargers can cause leakage currents, damaging the anodized finish and leading to paint chipping. This is why Samsung advises using only official chargers. However, since at least one affected user on Reddit reported using an official 25W Samsung charger, it raises concerns that the problem might not be solely due to third-party chargers.
