High-End Android Phones Powered with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

Some smartphones featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 have already been launched in China, with many expecting a global release shortly after. A growing list of flagship smartphones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which was officially announced in late September 2025. The chipset is anticipated to power top-tier Android devices throughout late 2025 and 2026, with several phones already confirmed or heavily rumored. Xiaomi 17 series: The Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max were confirmed as the first phones to use this chip. Sony Xperia Z1 and Z Ultra Receives 4.3 Update - Brings Display, Bluetooth Music Streaming , Email and WiFi Improvements

Sony's Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra users will now starts to receive the Android 4.3 update as Sony Mobile finally confirmed the said 4.3 has started to roll out. The 4.3 update will brings additional improvements to the display which has now equipped with a White Balance options in menu settings. There are also several enhancements added, including the Bluetooth Music Streaming, and for WiFi and Email improvements.
