Some smartphones featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 have already been launched in China, with many expecting a global release shortly after. A growing list of flagship smartphones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which was officially announced in late September 2025. The chipset is anticipated to power top-tier Android devices throughout late 2025 and 2026, with several phones already confirmed or heavily rumored. Google closed the deal with Twitch to join YouTube for $1 billion

It was rumored a few months ago that Google’s YouTube plans to buy the popular video game streamer Twitch for over $1 billion. It is reported true recently when Google has already reached an agreement with Twitch.


Twitch, currently the most popular and leading podium for video game streaming, will be joining YouTube, as sources close to Venture Beat say that Google has already closed the deal for $1 billion.

With over 50 million active users monthly along with the exceeding 1.1 million streamers of game-play, Twitch has already established its name in the gaming field, enabling its users to broadcast their PC, Xbox or PlayStation game-play live to millions of watchers. On a month alone, over 13 billion minutes of content are being viewed on Twitch.

Is the merging of Twitch and YouTube a good idea?

The paint chipping issue reported by some Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 users appears to be a recurring problem that was also seen with the Z Fold 6.
