New official firmware update build G900PVPU1AOA6 this is Sprint Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900P official Android 5.0 Lollipop update (LRX21T.G900PVPU1BOA6). Sprint is the second among major US carriers had to unleashed the much awaited Lollipop update just right after Verizon Galaxy S5 Android 5.0 Lollipop update to G900VVRU1BOA8 just within 48 hours ahead. While AT&T also dropped an update to G900AUCU2AOA1 but still  remains in Android 4.4.4 KitKat. T-Mobile Galaxy S5 no signs of any update yet, but we're hoping that they might also follow very soon.

In addition, Samsung US support has also addressed some of the latter's changelog details such as the Enhanced Voice over WiFi UI and Lumen tool bar being removed.  But apparently, there are lots of improvements and enhancements added in it from which the changelog given did not says it all. The roll out of G900PVPU1AOA6 Lollipop update is available via Over-The-Air weighing at 898.44MB file size, beginning February 5 and might last in a week until all users receive the update. Android software update rollouts usually conducted in phases which is typically they start at  select percentage of devices within around 24 to 48 hours.

Upon updating to Android 5.0 OS, users were advised to free enough memory spaces at around 3 Gbytes remained in the phone. The requirement is a must, failing to comply the phone will just restores back to KitKat OS. Once until a user generates the required free memory space he or she can retry to update again.

Below is the technical details of G900PVPU1AOA6 5.0 once the lollipop update has finished. Updating to Android 5.0 OS took me around 40 minutes upon downloading and installation process, as it matters also to my data connection speed. It booted quite much longer compared to those KitKat OS update days due to several optimization process in Android Lollipop.

Paint On Galaxy Z Fold7 Phones Is Already Peeling Off, According To Consumers

The paint chipping issue reported by some Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 users appears to be a recurring problem that was also seen with the Z Fold 6. Despite users claiming they have not dropped their devices, paint delamination is occurring on the anodized aluminum body. Samsung’s support page for the Z Fold 6 suggests that poorly grounded third-party chargers can cause leakage currents, damaging the anodized finish and leading to paint chipping. This is why Samsung advises using only official chargers. However, since at least one affected user on Reddit reported using an official 25W Samsung charger, it raises concerns that the problem might not be solely due to third-party chargers. It could indicate potential issues with Samsung’s paint application process or possibly that their chargers might not fully prevent this damage under certain conditions. Received the phone and been using for almost a week. Treated the phone like a baby but the paint seems to start peeling off (sort of) day by ...
