Apple's two failed iPhones in 2025

The interest in the iPhone 17 series is high, particularly for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max models, which are outselling their predecessors. The iPhone Air has a different tale to tell; sales haven't been great, with reports showing low demand and major production cuts.  In contrast to the heavily publicized flop of the iPhone Air, there hasn't been much info on how the iPhone 16e is doing in sales. Lollipop update Sprint Galaxy S5 Sport to G860PVPU1BOC5, brings Reactivation Lock

Sprint Galaxy S5 Sport SM-G860P gets its official Lollipop update that will bump up the software build version to G860PVPU1BOC5. The latter is base in Android 5.0 Lollipop which in-line with "LRX21T" series of firmware  builds just like the ones found on the regular Verizon Galaxy S5 SM-G900P which also got its Lollipop update to build version G900PVPU1BOA6.  Aside from Lollipop goodies, the update also brings the Reactivation lock feature that prevent others from activating the device if it's ever lost or stolen.  This can be access in Apps>>Settings>>Security once the Lollipop update has made.

However,  Sprint Galaxy S5 Sport had skipped the Android 4.4.4 KitKat update as we expected to happen but it wasn't. So the G860PVPU1BOC5 is a direct upgrade to Android 5.0 Lollipop from previous Android 4.4.2 KitKat build version G860PVPU1ANK2.

How to Update Sprint Galaxy S5 Sport G860P to the latest Lollipop Software Update


Samsung always advises us to prepare the following important notes to consider before performing the software update. I have also added some useful insights why you should follow this procedures to keep your phone in safe.

Recharge the phone’s Battery – You should make sure your device is fully recharged before performing the software update. Do not also remove the battery during the software update is in progress.   • Find Software update
  • Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your mobile phone.
  • Tap the settings icon.
  • Tap About device.
  • Tap Software update.

It will automatically tells you that a new update is available or your software is up to date when there is none yet. You can simply tap install now when you want to perform an update or install later.
