High-End Android Phones Powered with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

Some smartphones featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 have already been launched in China, with many expecting a global release shortly after. A growing list of flagship smartphones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which was officially announced in late September 2025. The chipset is anticipated to power top-tier Android devices throughout late 2025 and 2026, with several phones already confirmed or heavily rumored. T-Mobile Galaxy S5 Android 5.1.1 Update version G900TUVU1FOF6, bringing Anti-theft Factory Reset Protection

T-Mobile Galaxy S5 (SM-G900T) now gets the Android 5.1.1 update to build version G900TUVU1FOF6. The 5.1.1 update now brings the Anti-theft feature which is called Factory Reset Protection (FRP); this feature is basically an improved device security against smartphone thieves.  Along with the Android 5.1.1 update are  various bug fixes and device improvements. It might refer to improvements on some apps, camera, battery life, memory usage, network connectivity, and more.

All other major U.S. carriers and international Samsung Galaxy S5 might get the 5.1.1 update very soon.  T-Mobile is just a bit ahead when it comes to Android 5.1.1 update. Noting that before this Android 5.1.1 update arrived on Galaxy S5, the latter had also rolled out the first Android 5.1.1 update on Samsung Galaxy S6 (SM-G920T) and the Galaxy S6 Edge (SM-G925T)  few days ago. Both 5.1.1 update has also offered the same features such as the Anti-Theft or Factory Reset Protection (FRP).

Some features found on Android 5.1.1 update:

The Quick Connect and the S Finder is now allows the Galaxy S5 users to remove an apps that they do not want to show in the notification shade.  The Camera App has now this exposure slider which also allows the owners to  adjust the photo exposure.  You can now also organize the apps alphabetically. Guest Mode which switches the device mode between the owner and other user.

According to T-Mobile support, the G900TUVU1FOF6 5.1.1 update is available through Over-The-Air (OTA) update over Wi-Fi or using Samsung Kies or Samsung Smart Switch for PC.  The update file size is 694.99 MB to download  via OTA and around 1.5 GB while updating via Kies or Smart Switch.     I have flashed my S5 SM-900T 4.4.2 by a SM-900F 5.0 and my phone is unlocked for other carrier. If I flash it again using SM-900T 5.0, is there any chance to lock my phone again only for T-mobile....??

Paint On Galaxy Z Fold7 Phones Is Already Peeling Off, According To Consumers

The paint chipping issue reported by some Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 users appears to be a recurring problem that was also seen with the Z Fold 6. Despite users claiming they have not dropped their devices, paint delamination is occurring on the anodized aluminum body. Samsung’s support page for the Z Fold 6 suggests that poorly grounded third-party chargers can cause leakage currents, damaging the anodized finish and leading to paint chipping.
