Not only the Verizon Galaxy S6 got the OTA update this week but the Verizon Galaxy S6 Edge as well gets an Over-The-Air (OTA) software update treatment. The update has bumped-up the firmware version to G925VVRU1AOE2 from previous version G925VVZW1AOC3. It is still in Android 5.0.2 Lollipop  base with the new build number “LRX22G.G925VVRU1AOE2″ and not the “LRX22G.G925VVRU1AOD5″ indicated in the release note.
The G925VVRU1AOE2 brings some major revamp as it brings several improvements, bug fixes and more feature enhancements to the device. An additional tweaks to the HD Voice screen, Google Wallet now comes pre-loaded, and the introduction of the People Edge which is exclusively for the Galaxy S6 Edge users only.
