High-End Android Phones Powered with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

Some smartphones featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 have already been launched in China, with many expecting a global release shortly after. A growing list of flagship smartphones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which was officially announced in late September 2025. The chipset is anticipated to power top-tier Android devices throughout late 2025 and 2026, with several phones already confirmed or heavily rumored. AT&T Galaxy S6 Active Update version G890AUCU2AOF4 with Patches to Stagefright bug

The AT&T's Galaxy S6 active (SM-G890) also receives an update that contains  fixes to Stagefright bug.  The update is bundled in firmware  build version G890AUCU2AOF4 to which has now added with new Google's security patches to fight back against the Stagefright bug vulnerabilities. We are also keeping an eye on Galaxy S6 (SM-G920A) and S6 edge (SM-G925A),  that might follow very shortly. This is the same update that Sprint have just also rolled out on their own Galaxy S6 (SM-G920P) and Galaxy S6 edge (SM-G925P) slate, while the rest of  major U.S. carriers such as T-Mobile and Verizon has no indication to respond about the Stagefright problem. 

Stagefright is the biggest security flaws and a treat to Android smartphones and tablets. Because of this Samsung and Google  has issued some preventative measures to guarantee the phone's safety. They are going to supply a new set of software updates to select devices, to which is already equipped with new security patches for at least once every month.

The paint chipping issue reported by some Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 users appears to be a recurring problem that was also seen with the Z Fold 6.
