High-End Android Phones Powered with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

Some smartphones featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 have already been launched in China, with many expecting a global release shortly after. A growing list of flagship smartphones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which was officially announced in late September 2025. The chipset is anticipated to power top-tier Android devices throughout late 2025 and 2026, with several phones already confirmed or heavily rumored. Xiaomi 17 series: The Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max were confirmed as the first phones to use this chip. AT&T Galaxy Note 5 Initial Firmware Build N920AUCU1AOGG

If you might want to find out the initial Android OS running onAT&T Galaxy Note 5 (SM-N920A), then you should learn that the device is running at the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and dubbed with firmware build N920AUCU1AOGG.  The N920AUCU1AOGG is the initially released default firmware during the latter's market launch.

According to reports, the Galaxy Note 5 from AT&T is equipped with KNOX enterprise which prevents root and any further customization. Doing so the device won’t boot up and it will shut down the phone completely. This also the same thing being applied to the Verizon Galaxy Note 5 (SM-N920V). The paint chipping issue reported by some Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 users appears to be a recurring problem that was also seen with the Z Fold 6. Despite users claiming they have not dropped their devices, paint delamination is occurring on the anodized aluminum body.
