T-Mobile Galaxy S6 G920TUVU2DOH6 Update, Adds up the T-Mobile Video Calling Support

T-Mobile is also sending out a new update on Galaxy S6 (SM-N920T) to build G920TUVU2DOH6 a very similar update that has just recently brought out on the Samsung  Galaxy S6 Edge (SM-G925T). According to T-Mobile, the update now includes the  T-Mobile Video Calling support that will work right out-of-the-box from the smartphone’s dialer without anything to download and register any additional apps. Once the Galaxy S6 receives the update, a green camera icon will appear next to contacts to which easily allows users to place and receive video calls by just pressing a button.

Like HD Voice calls, T-Mobile Video Calling moves seamlessly between LTE and Wi-Fi. And, if you move off LTE or Wi-Fi to a slower connection, your video call seamlessly switches over to a voice call. If you move back to LTE or Wi-Fi, switch it back to video with a single tap.

How to Update the T-Mobile Galaxy S6 (SM-G920T) via Over The Air (OTA)  Update

The Over The Air (OTA) update requires you to connect your Galaxy S6 to a Wi-Fi network to avoid data charges.
To get the G920TUVU2DOH6 update that enable the T-Mobile Video Calling, you must recharge your phone's battery first to at least 50% before performing the software update. Also, make sure that your Galaxy S6 hasn’t been rooted nor running on any modified firmware or else your device might get into trouble and may not work perfectly.

1. From the device Home screen, simply tap Apps.
2. Tap the Settings (gear icon).
3. Tap About device.
4. Tap Software update.
5. Tap Check for updates.
6. Tap the Install button, then OK.

Video Calling settings on T-Mobile  Galaxy S6

Place a call

1. Navigate to the Contact you want to Video call.
2. If they are available, a green Camera icon will be next to their number. Tap this icon to begin the Video call.

Switch to Video call

1. From your Dialer, place an audio call to a contact by pressing the phone icon.
2. In the Dialer, tap the VIDEO CALL option at the top of the screen to switch to a Video call.
3. Once the Video call has connected you can choose from the following options:
   
   • Switch camera
   • Mute
   • Show me
   • Hide me
   • Decline
   • End call
4. If you switch back to an audio call, you will not be able to switch back to a Video call. You will have to hang up and dial again to start a video call.

Turn T-Mobile Video Calling on/off

To turn T-Mobile Video Calling on or off, follow these steps:
Turn ON/OFF VoLTE Data network

1. From any Home screen, tap Phone.
2. Tap the MORE icon.
3. Tap Settings.
4. Tap Voice over LTE settings.
5. Select one of the following:
   
   • Turn on: Use VoLTE when available
   • Turn off: Do not use VoLTE

Turn ON/OFF Wi-Fi Calling

1. From any Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Scroll to 'Connections,' then tap More connection settings.
4. Tap Wi-Fi Calling.
5. Slide the Wi-Fi Switch right to the ON position.
6. Select the Wi-Fi preferred or Never use Cellular Network to turn on Wi-Fi calling.
