As promised to Verizon Galaxy S6 (SM-G920V) and Galaxy S6 edge (SM-G925V) owners that they will get the Samsung Pay apps installed on their devices. It is now finally rolling ou bringing the said Samsung Pay to which the new recently launched mobile payment in the United States alone. The update is still base in Android 5.1.1 Lollipop but will move the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6 OS build version to G920VVRU4BOG9 from G920VVRU4BOG7. While on the other hand, the Verizon Galaxy S6 Edge will also bump up to build G925VVRU4BOG9.
In addition, the update also includes another Android security patches. Both updates are now available via Over-The-Air (OTA) to which gradually release in stages. Once took the update, users will then be able to download the said Samsung Pay apps from Google Play Store. The rest is just to simply activate their own cards, but only from those select banks that have been tied-up with Samsung Pay.
