A growing list of flagship smartphones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which was officially announced in late September 2025. Sprint Galaxy S6 edge update build G925PVPU3BOJ7, Features Sprint Global Roaming and Security Patches
Following Sprint Galaxy S6 (SM-G920P) to which got an update to build G920PVPU3BOJ7, Sprint Galaxy S6 edge (SM-G925P) is also received an update to build G925PVPU3BOJ7. According to Sprint, the update mainly features the Sprint Global Roaming support. Along with the update is the Google security patches and unmentioned bug fixes. This update will now replace the previously released build G925PVPU3BOI1 that has been added with Samsung Pay.
This update is rolling out in stages, so if ever you did not received the notification yet, you may just keep on checking by going into the phone’s Settings > About device > Check for an update. The firmware server refreshes once in every hour, so just continue doing it until it says that the update is available for download.
Also, keep in mind that you cannot get the update if you have rooted or have a modified system running on your Sprint Samsung Galaxy S6 (SM-G920P). Your device must have to be still run with the official firmware within the system.
