High-End Android Phones Powered with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

Some smartphones featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 have already been launched in China, with many expecting a global release shortly after. A growing list of flagship smartphones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which was officially announced in late September 2025. The chipset is anticipated to power top-tier Android devices throughout late 2025 and 2026, with several phones already confirmed or heavily rumored. Xiaomi 17 series: The Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max were confirmed as the first phones to use this chip. T-Mobile Galaxy S5 Security Patch Update to build G900TUVS1FOJ4

T-Mobile is once again sending out an update Galaxy S5 (SM-G900T)to which will now bump it's current Android 5.1.1 OS to build  G900TUVS1FOJ4. Accroding to T-Mobile, the G900TUVS1FOJ4 update will not going to bring any new feature but just another security updates.  This is another episode of a maintenance update to address the recently found Android OS vulnerabilities in MMS services.  The G900TUVS1FOJ4 will now replace the previous released build G900TUVU1FOG6 way back in August.

The paint chipping issue reported by some Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 users appears to be a recurring problem that was also seen with the Z Fold 6. Despite users claiming they have not dropped their devices, paint delamination is occurring on the anodized aluminum body.
