High-End Android Phones Powered with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

Some smartphones featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 have already been launched in China, with many expecting a global release shortly after. A growing list of flagship smartphones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which was officially announced in late September 2025. The chipset is anticipated to power top-tier Android devices throughout late 2025 and 2026, with several phones already confirmed or heavily rumored. Xiaomi 17 series: The Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max were confirmed as the first phones to use this chip. AT&T Galaxy Note 5 August Security Patch Update N920AUCS3BPH4

AT&T Galaxy Note 5  has started getting the August Security patch update.  It's just a small OTA update and nothing any major changes, but it carries the new Google and Samsung security patches for both Android and Samsung vulnerabilities.  It comes as build version N920AUCS3BPH4 and weighs at just around 33.5 MB in size. Like I said it's one of the smallest OTA update I ever seen.

You may check the update manually if you haven't received the notification message yet.  Just do the following simple steps and you'll update your Galaxy Note 5 in no time.
  1. From the device Home screen, simply tap Apps.
  2. Tap the Settings (gear icon).
  3. Tap the System tab.
  4. Tap About device.
  5. Tap Software update.
  6. Tap Check for updates.
  7. Tap the Install button, then OK.
  8. Wait until the phone completely reboot before touching it. It may reboot (turn on and off) multiple times as the update might still at its finalization stage.

However, if somehow the update isn’t available yet, you should also consider that the released usually take in stages and may also take days before it arrives in some areas. So you may have to wait and keep on checking until you get the update.

The paint chipping issue reported by some Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 users appears to be a recurring problem that was also seen with the Z Fold 6. Despite users claiming they have not dropped their devices, paint delamination is occurring on the anodized aluminum body. Samsung’s support page for the Z Fold 6 suggests that poorly grounded third-party chargers can cause leakage currents, damaging the anodized finish and leading to paint chipping. This is why Samsung advises using only official chargers.
