Some smartphones featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 have already been launched in China, with many expecting a global release shortly after. A growing list of flagship smartphones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which was officially announced in late September 2025. The chipset is anticipated to power top-tier Android devices throughout late 2025 and 2026, with several phones already confirmed or heavily rumored. Verizon Galaxy Note 5 Update N920VVRS3BPI1, Bringing September Security Patch


Verizon Galaxy Note 5 has receive an OTA update that bumped up its Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS to build version N920VVRS3BPI1. The said update brings the September security patches, bug fixes, and other system enhancements.

The released is still part of the monthly security maintenance to which provided by Samsung and Google. The September Security packaged is consists of approximately 65 Google security patches and provides 9  Samsung vulnerabilities and exposures. But even though the security update comes in every while, there is no any exploitation nor abuse of the said Android vulnerabilities being reported from active users by far, according to Android Security Bulletin.

From the device Home screen, simply touch Apps.
Touch the Settings (gear icon).
Touch the System tab.
Touch About device.
