Sprint has rolled another OTA update on Galaxy S5 brings the Android device security packaged as for the month of October patches. However, Sprint hasn't made some announcement about it yet, but the said update is now live via Over-The-Air.
It's only a small OTA update so it will not gonna take too long to install. So better check the update if you do have Sprint galaxy S5 (SM-G900P) if you haven't receive the notification message yet.
Here are the technical details of this update, taking note that it bumps up it's current Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS to build version MMB29M.G900PVPU3CPJ2.
The G900PVPU3CPJ2 OTA update weighs at approximately 86 MB to download via Over-The-Air (OTA) and or by using Kies or Smart Switch for PC. This update is at its phased released, and it may take into several days to completely arrive on all Galaxy S5 owners. Yet, if you haven’t received the notification message, you may manually check the update from time to time until it tells you that the new update is available for grab.
