Sprint has started pushing an OTA update dubbed as build version G900PVPU3CPL2 on Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900P). It's more likely just another security updates to which contains the December Android Security patches. Sprint haven't posted anything about this update yet though. But by judging the update's file size that weighs at around 237 MB, it considerably includes several bug fixes, enhanced features and or other system improvements.
In addition, the December Android Security Maintenance Release (SMR) packaged contains 81 security patches for Google Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE), and around 15 security patches for Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE). Simply just tap on your Galaxy S5 Settings > About device > Software update > Check for update.
Also, keep in mind that you can only get the new update if your device has not been rooted and or currently running on a modified firmware. You must unroot your device first before taking an OTA update so your device may not get into any issues.
