T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900T gets an OTA update and it'll bump up the Android OS version to G900TUVS1GQA2 from G900TUVS1GPK3. It is just a minor update that brings up the January 2017 Android security patches, so it does not bothering to take the update at the right time. This is the same security updates that have been also recently sent out on AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint Galaxy S5 variants.
Here goes the technical details of the said update:

In addition, the January 2017 Android Security Maintenance Release (SMR) packaged contains 68 patches for Android Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE), and 28 patches for Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE), according to Samsung Mobile Security bulletin.
Again, the roll out will take in stages and it simply means that each and every T-Mo’s Galaxy S5 users will not receive the update’s notification message at the same time.

Once you installed Kies / Smart Switch, all you need is connect your Samsung Galaxy S5 into your PC using the USB data cable, then simply run and follow Kies or Smart Switch on-screen’s software update instruction.
For those who have a rooted T-Mobile Galaxy S5, you folks might need to download the stock firmware itself – either the G900TUVS1GPK3 for SM-G900T or G900TUVS1GPK3 for the SM-G900T3 model, as you may no longer get the Over The air update as long as your device has been modified – Galaxy S5 SM-G900T Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow Firmware. So the only way to upgrade your phone to Marshmallow is to manually install the official Android 6.0.1 Marsmallow firmware itself. This process will completely unroot and remove any modification in your Galaxy S5 phone and restores it back to its official or factory default firmware.
