Apple's two failed iPhones in 2025

The interest in the iPhone 17 series is high, particularly for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max models, which are outselling their predecessors. The iPhone Air has a different tale to tell; sales haven't been great, with reports showing low demand and major production cuts.  In contrast to the heavily publicized flop of the iPhone Air, there hasn't been much info on how the iPhone 16e is doing in sales. Early reports suggested it was doing pretty well, but it seems that wasn't up to Apple's standards.  Sales of the iPhone 16e and iPhone Air aren't meeting Apple's expectations, as per info from leaker Fixed Focus Digital (source in Chinese). While no exact figures were shared, the leaker suggests that Apple's effort to launch a popular, budget-friendly iPhone hasn't succeeded. The Galaxy Note 5 variants in Korea such as the SM-N920K, SM-N920L, and SM-N920S had also started receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat updates. These devices usually received the first treatment when it comes to Android OS upgrades since these devices were just at Samsung's backyard.

But anyways, even though the scenario has changed, and these devices hasn't treated the way it was before,  the good thing is that the Nougat updates still arrived at the perfect time.

The paint chipping issue reported by some Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 users appears to be a recurring problem that was also seen with the Z Fold 6.
