Some smartphones featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 have already been launched in China, with many expecting a global release shortly after. A growing list of flagship smartphones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which was officially announced in late September 2025. The chipset is anticipated to power top-tier Android devices throughout late 2025 and 2026, with several phones already confirmed or heavily rumored. AT&T Galaxy Note 5 Receiving April Security Patch Updates to N920AUCS4EQD1 Nougat

AT&T Galaxy Note 5 has once again receives another round of Android 7.0 Nougat update this month. An OTA update dubbed as build version N920AUCS4EQD1 weighing at just  14.8 MB is heading it way over the weekend. While judging to the file size itself, the update will only brings the April 1, 2017 Android Security Patch level.

The Over The Air (OTA) update requires you to connect your Galaxy Note 5 to a Wi-Fi network to avoid high data charges.
  • From the device Home screen, simply tap Apps.
  • Tap the Settings (gear icon).
  • Tap the System tab.
  • Tap About device.
  • Tap Software update.
  • Tap Check for updates.
  • Tap the Install button, then OK.

The paint chipping issue reported by some Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 users appears to be a recurring problem that was also seen with the Z Fold 6. Despite users claiming they have not dropped their devices, paint delamination is occurring on the anodized aluminum body. Samsung’s support page for the Z Fold 6 suggests that poorly grounded third-party chargers can cause leakage currents, damaging the anodized finish and leading to paint chipping.
