AT&T has just released this month's OTA updates for their own Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6 active and the Galaxy S6 edge plus models.
These new releases brings nothing more any new changes to the recent Android 7.0 Nougat, but this time around it includes the May 1, 2017 Android security patch level. Each devices receives at about 15 MB to 50 MB OS update, of which it won't take too long to download and install.
Here goes the technical details on each device update:
Each of these updates is live via Over-The-Air (OTA). If you owned one of these Galaxy S6 devices, it is much better to check the update right now. If your device haven’t received the notification message yet, you may manually check the update manually by simply firing up that software update option in the device settings.
Just keep in mind that the roll out usually in phases, and it may take into several days before it reaches in some areas.
