Most of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Models Expected To Be Powered by Exynos 2600

  The speculation has been widespread. Some suggest that the Exynos 2600 application processor (AP), produced by Samsung Foundry using its 2nm GAA technology, will be the driving force behind the majority of the Samsung Galaxy S26 models, including the Galaxy S26 Ultra in certain regions. Previously, Samsung Foundry encountered challenges with the yield of its 3nm production, resulting in a shortage of Exynos 2500 APs for the Galaxy S25 series. The standard Samsung Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra models are all equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor. This marks a shift from previous models, such as the Galaxy S24 series, which used both Snapdragon and Samsung's own Exynos chipsets, depending on the region.  While during Qualcomm's recent earnings call following the release of its fiscal Q4 earnings, the company said that it expected its new Snapdragon chip to be found in 75 percent of the Galaxy S26 handsets. May 1 2017 Android Security Updates Released on Verizon Galaxy S6, S6edge and S6 edge+

Verizon is sending out an OTA updates containing the May 1, 2017 Android Security Patch Level for the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, and the Galaxy S6 edge+ .  These are now the second Android 7.0 Nougat being rolled out on the said devices.

The Verizon Galaxy S6 (SM-G920V) has moved its Nougat OS to version NRD90M.G920VVRS4DQE1 from NRD90M.G920VVRS4DQD1 . Similarly happened to the Galaxy S6 edge that also bumped to version NRD90M.G925VVRS4DQE1 from NRD90M.G925VVRS4DQD1. While Galaxy S6 edge+ (SM-G928V) on the other hand, had also jumped up to version NRD90M.G928VVRS3CQE1 from NRD90M.G928VVRS3CQD1.

Just in-case if someone haven’t been updated their Galaxy S6, or a Galaxy S6, and the Galaxy S6 edge+ to Nougat yet, you may update your device using the Verizon Software upgrade assistant from the Verizon site.  This can save you time from installing the previous security patches before you get Android 7.0 Nougat update.
