Apple's two failed iPhones in 2025

The interest in the iPhone 17 series is high, particularly for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max models, which are outselling their predecessors. The iPhone Air has a different tale to tell; sales haven't been great, with reports showing low demand and major production cuts.  In contrast to the heavily publicized flop of the iPhone Air, there hasn't been much info on how the iPhone 16e is doing in sales. Early reports suggested it was doing pretty well, but it seems that wasn't up to Apple's standards.  Sales of the iPhone 16e and iPhone Air aren't meeting Apple's expectations, as per info from leaker Fixed Focus Digital (source in Chinese). While no exact figures were shared, the leaker suggests that Apple's effort to launch a popular, budget-friendly iPhone hasn't succeeded. Galaxy S6 SM-G920I and S6 edge SM-G925I Receiving July 2017 Security Updates in India and Latin America

A month ago the Galaxy S6 SM-G920I and Galaxy S6 edge SM-G925I 4G LTE variant has received the June security updates. This time around another update are about to hit the said devices in India, including the rest of select countries in Asia and Latin America region.

This update update will bump up the Galaxy S6 SM-G920I and S6 edge SM-G925I Android security patch level to July 1, 2017.  The Galaxy S6 G920I will get the Android 7.0 Nougat update version G920IDVU3FQG2 in India, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.  While in Latin America, we've spooted an update version G920IDVU3FQG1 heading in Argentina and Columbia. On the other hand, the Galaxy S6 edge G925I also gets an update to version G925IDVU3FQG2 from G925IDVS3FQEC in Asia.

Meanwhile, we haven't seen any update movement in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore within this month. But, there might be a security update of which will arrive in the month of August.

So if you've got a Galaxy S6 SM-G920I or a S6 edge SM-G925I  and haven't received the said updates,  you can manually check for a software update by going into Settings > About device> Check for an Update.

Anyways, you can see this Android security patch level at the bottom of the software info in your Galaxy S6 SM-G920I and S6 edge SM-G925I. From Settings > About Phone > Software info > then scroll down at the bottom.

How to Update a Galaxy S6 and a S6 edge via Over-The-Air

Ensure your battery is fully charged before starting the software update. This is a must and very important part to get rid of some issues if ever the software update being interrupted due to a power failure.

From the Home screen, tap the Menu Key > Settings > About device > Software updates > Check for Updates.
If your device finds a new software update, tap Download now. When complete, a screen will appear advising you that the new version of software is ready to be installed. Tap Install the update.
The device will power down and power back on. A screen will appear stating that the installation has been completed. Tap OK.

There you have it! Just keep your Galaxy S6 SM-G920I and S6 edge SM-G925I fully updated as always as possible, to get the a new doze device security updates, new apps and features, several improvements but not limited to data connectivity, camera, audio and video quality, UI and a lot more.
