Verizon has made a new update available to Moto G 2025 users. The Android security patch level up to August 2025 is reportedly included in the upgrade. There are no negative effects or extra features included in the update, save from the aforementioned device security upgrade. Additionally, Verizon's Moto G 2025 has been continuously trickling out from August 22, 2025. It might be wise to check your device settings for updates if you bought and now own a Verizon Moto G 2025 prepaid smartphone.

  1.  To begin the software update download, tap Yes, I'm in.
  2.  Press Install now after the software update has completed downloading.
  3.  Following the installation, your phone will restart itself.
  4. Your phone has been successfully updated.

 To manually update your phone if you did not receive a notification for this software update, follow these steps:

 In the apps menu, tap the Settings icon.

  1.  Select "About Phone."
  2.  Select "System updates."
