Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra 60 Watts Charging Speed Confirmed by C3C Certificate

China's 3C certification has effectively confirmed that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will support 60W wired charging. The certification for the China variant, listed under model number SM-S9480, shows a 20V/3A power rating, which validates the 60W fast charging capability.
This marks a significant upgrade in wired charging performance for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, representing Samsung's first major charging speed boost for an Ultra model since the Galaxy S20 Ultra in 2020.

The certification also supports earlier leaks suggesting that Samsung plans to market the feature as part of its next-generation "Super Fast Charging" system, giving users a sneak peek of the phone's enhanced charging capabilities ahead of its anticipated early 2026 launch.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is rumored to come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with a 6.9-inch M14 OLED display that offers enhanced brightness levels. The device is expected to feature a significantly upgraded 200MP main camera with an f/1.4 aperture, along with a new 50MP ultrawide sensor and revamped 3x/5x telephoto lenses for improved zoom and detail.

With options for 12GB or 16GB of RAM, it will offer smooth performance across demanding tasks. The 5000mAh+ battery is said to support 60W wired charging and 25W wireless charging (Qi2 compatibility), ensuring fast and efficient power replenishment. Storage will be based on UFS 4.0 technology, providing rapid data transfer speeds. Running on One UI 8.5 and Android 16, the S26 Ultra will maintain a familiar design, with subtle tweaks to its ergonomics and a more refined camera bump.
