High-End Android Phones Powered with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

Some smartphones featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 have already been launched in China, with many expecting a global release shortly after. A growing list of flagship smartphones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which was officially announced in late September 2025. The chipset is anticipated to power top-tier Android devices throughout late 2025 and 2026, with several phones already confirmed or heavily rumored. Xiaomi 17 series: The Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max were confirmed as the first phones to use this chip. HTC Dev Offers Bootloader Unlock on AT&T's HTC One, CWM Recovery and Root Has Confirmed

Those who might have been wondered if the AT&T's version of HTC One is blocked by HTC's bootloader unlocking tool, well here's a good news! Android Central told, that One of the lucky guy who get the HTC One ahead of its release period confirms this by posting some pics while hes into unlocking the bootloader process. The device is now also installed with international version of CWM recovery and has rooted.

The folks also emphasized that there are downsides of this unlock bootloader procedure, it will delete all data stored from the phone after unlock. Some apps were also removed such as the Calculator, Flashlight, Ringtone Trimmer and Sound Recorder and it will not  able to receive any OS updates.
But for those who loves into tweaking their Android devices this isn't a bothering case anymore, for they already knows about it. This only means that the HTC One is looking forward for after-market developers interests.

The paint chipping issue reported by some Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 users appears to be a recurring problem that was also seen with the Z Fold 6. Despite users claiming they have not dropped their devices, paint delamination is occurring on the anodized aluminum body. Samsung’s support page for the Z Fold 6 suggests that poorly grounded third-party chargers can cause leakage currents, damaging the anodized finish and leading to paint chipping.
