High-End Android Phones Powered with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

Some smartphones featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 have already been launched in China, with many expecting a global release shortly after. A growing list of flagship smartphones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which was officially announced in late September 2025. The chipset is anticipated to power top-tier Android devices throughout late 2025 and 2026, with several phones already confirmed or heavily rumored. Xiaomi 17 series: The Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max were confirmed as the first phones to use this chip. T-Mobile Galaxy S3 New 4.1.2 Jelly Bean T999UVDMD5 update Features Multi-View according to official changelog

Owners T-Mobile's Samsung Galaxy S3 (also known as SGH-T999) will now enjoys the "multi-view" that is now included  on its latest Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update with build numbers T999UVDMD5. This said multi-view function wasn't been included from previous released and can only found on Samsung Galaxy Note. Just earlier today, owners of the T-Mobile Galaxy S III are being hit with an update that bumps their Galaxy S3 OS to Android 4.1.2. This update is rolling side by side through over the air and Kies method.

The T999UVDMD5 update weighs in at 168MB and will begin rolling out over the air today, May 13, and will continue going out to devices until June 16. The update is also available through Samsung's Kies computer software, which can be found right here. The full changelog for the T999UVDMD5 update is as follows:

The new T-mobile Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean T999UVDMD5 features multi-window, auto-pairing via NFC, Sound Balance, Paper Artist, Samsung Gallery, Blocking Mode, Easy Mode and some enhanced Camera options. While many of these features have some benefit, the key may be the multi-window.

The paint chipping issue reported by some Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 users appears to be a recurring problem that was also seen with the Z Fold 6. Despite users claiming they have not dropped their devices, paint delamination is occurring on the anodized aluminum body.
