The speculation has been widespread. Some suggest that the Exynos 2600 application processor (AP), produced by Samsung Foundry using its 2nm GAA technology, will be the driving force behind the majority of the Samsung Galaxy S26 models, including the Galaxy S26 Ultra in certain regions. Previously, Samsung Foundry encountered challenges with the yield of its 3nm production, resulting in a shortage of Exynos 2500 APs for the Galaxy S25 series. The standard Samsung Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra models are all equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor. This marks a shift from previous models, such as the Galaxy S24 series, which used both Snapdragon and Samsung's own Exynos chipsets, depending on the region. While during Qualcomm's recent earnings call following the release of its fiscal Q4 earnings, the company said that it expected its new Snapdragon chip to be found in 75 percent of the Galaxy S26 handsets. As we mentioned, we will continue to work on the 10.2 code branch, in parallel to all of our Android 4.4 efforts. For those that will inevitably ask, we have not made any decisions with respect to what devices will make the leap to the KitKat code base and likely won’t have that information for a few weeks. In the meantime, enjoy some of the hard work our contributors have placed into bringing you Android 4.3 and look forward to additional functionality as we move towards M2 and the eventual ‘stable’ release.
The CM10.2 M1 is a part of the M-series or milestone series and presumably there is another update coming next to it and that surely be CM10.2 M2 until the stable and final build finishes. So folks you can update your devices right now, just also make sure to get the latest Google Play Store or Gapps for Android 4.3 base ROM, for the previous build won't worked anymore once after you perform an update.
