Verizon Galaxy S5 Lollipop Update version G900VVRU2BOE1, brings Fingerprint Scanner, Galaxy Apps and Do not disturb button
Verizon has sent out another Android 5.0 Lollipop update on Galaxy S5 (SM-G900V).  The new 5.0 update comes with build version G900VVRU2BOE1 (LRXT21.G900VVRU2BOE1) and brings some few stuff  such as the multicast (eMBMS), fingerprint for EAS authentication, new LTE bands connectivity supports, remove softcard, and the  “GALAXY Apps” app store will be auto installed on to the device.
The update also includes the removal of the “Interruptions” button, and replaced by the “Do not disturb” button to simplify silencing phone with one touch. But the other valuable part of the update is the Fingerprint Scanner which can be use to unlock the phone by those who already have a Microsoft Exchange accounts.
The G900VVRU2BOE1 is now officially the 4th Lollipop update landed on Verizon Galaxy S5 devices. Stayed still in Android 5.0 base, which is apparently not the Android 5.0.2, just like the ones found to its successor — the Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-G920. According to Verizon Wireless support (pdf) the update will be available via Over-The-Air (OTA) which technically starts from July 1. So just keep an eye of it through your Galaxy S5 settings, from Home Screen tap Apps>Settings>About phone>Software update.
