High-End Android Phones Powered with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

Some smartphones featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 have already been launched in China, with many expecting a global release shortly after. A growing list of flagship smartphones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which was officially announced in late September 2025. The chipset is anticipated to power top-tier Android devices throughout late 2025 and 2026, with several phones already confirmed or heavily rumored. AT&T Galaxy S5 5.1.1 OTA update build G900AUCU4COI5, Brings Android for Work and Ultra Power Saver mode fix

AT&T Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900A) is finally getting its Android 5.1.1 OTA update that bumps to build G900AUCU4COI5 from previous Android 5.0 G900AUCU4BOF3. The update will not only move the Android OS to Android 5.1.1, but the latter also brings along some additional features and system enhancements. The addressed changelog says that it includes the Android for Work, a security update, and a fix to Ultra Power Saver mode for devices using on device encryption.

According to AT&T, the G900AUCU4COI5 5.1.1 update is available via Over-The-Air (OTA) update and thru Samsung Smart Switch for PC. The update weighs at around 610 MB in file size to download. If you haven't received the update's notification, you can check it manually by heading into your phone's  Settings > About Device and then simply check for an update.  You may also head over at AT&T's support page for further details about the said Android 5.1.1 update.

  1. I tried this update 2 days in a row and 2 days in a row it downloaded it OTA then restarted my phone and said update failed.

  2. Try to clear data cache. 1) You must backup all data stored in the phone's memory. 2) Press and hold down Volume up+Home+Power keys at the same time. 3) Once in recovery mode's given options, select Wipe Data/Factory Reset. 4) Try to OTA update again.

The paint chipping issue reported by some Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 users appears to be a recurring problem that was also seen with the Z Fold 6.
