AT&T Galaxy S5 OTA Update G900AUCS4DPH4, Brings October AndroidSecurity Patches

AT&T Galaxy S5 has gotten it's Android Security patches that covers the month of October. The update is still base in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and dubbed as build version G900AUCS4DPH4. The AT&T's Galaxy S5 is the first  device we have seen receive the October Android security patches in United States alone.  While other US carriers Galaxy S5 might also seen similar updates soon. AT&T Galaxy S5 Update G900AUCU4DPH2 Official Android Marshmallow

AT&T carrier has finally started to roll out the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update on  Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900A). The said Android marshmallow upgrade came out  as build version G900AUCU4DPH2. This is the final and official release build hence some of AT&T's Galaxy S5 users who participated the beta program already began receiving several Marshmallow update since May 2016. During the Beta test period there are almost 3 updates have been deployed, these are the build version  G900AUCU4DPE3 (released on May),  build version G900AUCU4DPF3 (on June), and the build version G900AUCU4DPG3 to which just released last month. AT&T Galaxy S5 OTA Update version G900AUCU4BOF3, Fixes for Stagefright bug

AT&T has just announced the release of  a new update on Galaxy S5 SM-G900A. The update will be sent out via Over-the-Air and dubbed with build version G900AUCU4BOF3.  The latter include a security patch to fix the Stagefright bug that surrounds on some infected apps that one have had downloaded and a website that was  just designed to bug any Android smartphones and tablets when a user visits on it. AT&T released a software update for the Samsung Galaxy S 5 (SM-G900A) on August 5, 2015. The update is available to customers to download via Firmware Over The Air (FOTA). Wi-Fi is required for the update. AT&T Galaxy S5 Gets New Lollipop OTA Update, now bumps to version G900AUCU4BOF2

AT&T Galaxy S5 (SM-G900A) is getting new Android 5.0 Lollipop update that will now bump up the build version to G900AUCU4BOF2. It only mentions that it brings performance and security enhancements, according to the initial changelog details. The update file size is around 296MB which  technically can tell us that it is just a minor OTA update but there be something on purpose the update may bring. Noting that AT&T already sent out the first Lollipop OTA update bringing several new stuff in it.  So the latter might just a little bit optimization to the former released. Root G900AUCU2AND3 Samsung Galaxy S5 (G900A)

If you already installed the OTA update G900AUCU2AND3 Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900A and now wants to retain root, this will cover how to root it correctly.  As I seen some few people have had ended-up into soft-bricking their phone while installing root, so I decided to put this up as a  word of advise to keep your phone safe in-case you are about to root your phone.
