The Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900W8 to which refers as the Canadian version is receiving its first Android Marshmallow update. Canadian Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900W8 Update version 5.0 G900W8VLU1BOC2, Security Improvements Added

Bell, Rogers, Telus, and the rest of Canadian carrier's Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900W8 gets a new software update that will bump up the build version to G900W8VLU1BOC2.  The update is said to address the recent vulnerabilities in picture and video messaging (MMS). The G900W8VLU1BOC2 is not the Android 5.1.1 update yet but is still based in Android 5.0,  just like the previous update - build version G900W8VLU1BOC1.   The latter only brings the Google's Security Patch to fix the (Stagefright) bug, which is basically a security enhancement to the device OS, so that the users vital information will be protected and safe. New Lollipop Update on Bell's Galaxy S5 to version 5.0 G900W8VLU1BOC1, Fixes Home button issue

We have posted about the Android 5.0 Lollipop update dubbed with build version G900W8VLU1BOB3 on all Canadian carriers Samsung Galaxy S5, including Bell, Rogers, Telus,  Videotron, Koodo and WIND Mobile.  Bell on the other hand had officially announced the update on their twitter page. Some users got the update but while some users did not seen it.  According  to Bell's support, it turned out that Samsung has recently halted and pulled the update after noticing an issue with the home button. However, yet today there is another Lollipop update we recently spotted in Kies firmware server. It's dubbed with released build version  number G900W8VLU1BOC1. Canadian Samsung Galaxy S5 G900W8 New Android 4.4.2 Update G900W8VLU1ANF3

Canadian Samsung Galaxy S5 users are about to see the new Android 4.4.2 KitKat OTA update the brings the software build version G900W8VLU1ANF3. The new G900W8VLU1ANF3 is now held available to all Candian carriers, including Rogers, Bell Mobility, Telus, Wind, Virgin-Mobile and among other carriers. There are no other reports or official announcements has yet to come but the 4.4.2 G900W8VLU1ANF3 is out there and are ready to be pushed as we already spotted it on Samsung Kies firmware server. It might to roll out in phases on the next 24 hours or on the next couple of days. As I already mentioned that there is no official release note about this update, so we aren't have no idea of what benefits could it bring on the Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900W8.
