Verizon Galaxy S5 Updates MMB29M.G900VVRS2DQA1, January 2017 SecurityPatch

An update for Verizon Galaxy S5 (SM-G900V) dubbed as build version  number MMB29M.G900VVRS2DQA1 is rolling out this week. Galaxy Note 5 January 2017 Android Security Updates is Hitting SM-N920C and SM-N9208 Variants

The Galaxy S6 Edge+ SM-G928F is getting an updates to build version G928FXXS3BQA7 in the European regions.  The update is not the much awaited Android Nougat update yet, but it's still based in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. AT&T Galaxy S6 Edge+ Getting Updates to version G928AUCS4CPL1 Not Nougat But Still Marshmallow

Last week AT&T has sent out an update on Galaxy S6, S6 edge and S6 Active , this time the Galaxy S6 edge+ is also getting the same treatment. The update is dubbed as build version G928AUCS4CPL1, it is not the Nougat update yet but still in Android Marshmallow based. The said update only weighs at 14.7MB in file size and it brings nothing more but the new Android Security patches to which now covers the month of  December 2016. Moreover, this update is now the 7th Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow released on AT&T Galaxy S6 since June 2016. The Nougat update might start to roll out sooner but we cannot guarantee any exact date to when it could arrive.  Some reports suggest the the Nougat will be rolling out on April, but we couldn't take it into an account until Samsung and the said carrier make an official announcements. AT&T has just released an OTA update on Galaxy Note 5 (SM-N920A), bumping the Android OS version to N920AUCS4CPL1 previous build N920AUCS4CPK1 . The update is still in recent Android Marshmallow OS and not the much awaited Android Nougat updates. AT&T has pushed the first round of OTA updates on Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge for this year. These updates aren't the Nougat updates yet that we've been waiting for,  but it's still another dose of Android security updates to which now brings the December Android security patches.  The updates has bumped AT&T's Galaxy S6 to build version G920AUCS5DPK3, while the Galaxy S6 edge moved to build version G925AUCS5DPK2.  On the other hand, the Galaxy S6 Active also got the build version G890AUCS5CPK4. Sprint Galaxy S5 Updates to version G900PVPU3CPL2, December AndroidSecurity Patches

Sprint has started pushing an OTA update dubbed as build version G900PVPU3CPL2 on Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900P). It's more likely just another security updates to which contains the December Android Security patches. Sprint haven't posted anything about this update yet though. But by judging the update's file size that weighs at around 237 MB,  it considerably includes several bug fixes,  enhanced features and or other system improvements. Sprint Galaxy Note 5 Updates to version N920PVPS3BPL1, It's Not Nougat Yet

if your Galaxy Note 5 is from Sprint, then you might already got an update earlier today.  This update will bump the device current Android OS to build version N920PVPS3BPL1 from the previous release version N920PVPS3BPK1 .  The update is still in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow base, and it's not the Android 7.0 Nougat update that we've been waiting for.  Instead, the update is the monthly Security Maintenance Released (SMR) to which now brings the December Android security patches. Speaking of the Nougat updates, it may arrived later in between March to April 2017.  The Galaxy Note 5 will only receive the Nougat update right after the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge, to which reportedly starts to roll out this month or until February 2017. Europe Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and S6 Edge+ December Android Security Updates

Samsung has rolled an update for the international Galaxy S6 (SM-G920F),  and Galaxy S6 Edge (SM-G925F) during the holiday season. While later this week  the Galaxy S6 Edge+ (SM-G928F) also receives the same treatment. These updates brings the December Android security patches for the said devices, to which also includes  the device stability improvements and to boost its performance. Anyway, these updates are still in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow base, and it's not the Android Nougat updates we've been waiting for.  The Nougat update for Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and S6 Edge+ might not arrive too early this year, just as long as we have to see it released on Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge beforehand.
