Apple's two failed iPhones in 2025

The interest in the iPhone 17 series is high, particularly for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max models, which are outselling their predecessors. The iPhone Air has a different tale to tell; sales haven't been great, with reports showing low demand and major production cuts.  In contrast to the heavily publicized flop of the iPhone Air, there hasn't been much info on how the iPhone 16e is doing in sales. Early reports suggested it was doing pretty well, but it seems that wasn't up to Apple's standards.  Sales of the iPhone 16e and iPhone Air aren't meeting Apple's expectations, as per info from leaker Fixed Focus Digital (source in Chinese). Verizon Galaxy S5 Updates MMB29M.G900VVRS2DQA1, January 2017 SecurityPatch

An update for Verizon Galaxy S5 (SM-G900V) dubbed as build version  number MMB29M.G900VVRS2DQA1 is rolling out this week. The said G900VVRS2DQA1 update will bring the Android security patches for January 2017. Its basically the same update we've seen last month, dubbed as released build version G900VVRS2DPL1 of which contains the December 2016 Android security patches.

In addition to this, this is a significant signs that the Galaxy S5 will continually getting an update for at-least once in every month within this year.  Even though the Galaxy S5 has been succeeded with the Galaxy S6,  Galaxy S7, and the upcoming Galaxy S8, it is truly amazing that the latter are still rocking around.

How to Update Samsung Galaxy S5 G900V to Marshmallow via Over-The-Air (OTA)


This is usually how the carrier branded or locked Samsung Galaxy S5, performs a software update.  This method is Firmware Update through over the air or called as OTA update, which most often  a notification message will directly send out to you from your network provider and notifies you that there is a new update available for download.  If you did not receive any notification messages you can manually check for the update instead.  Doing so you may only navigate on your Galaxy S5 SM-G900V  Settings > System updates > Check for new system update.

  • Find “Software update”

  • Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your mobile phone.

  • Tap the settings icon.

  • Tap System update.

  • Tap Check for new system update.

It will automatically tells you that a new update is available. You can simply tap install now when you want to perform an update or install later.

The other option is to use the Verizon software update tool itself, from where you  simply plug-in your phone into your computer to perform an update.
