There's an update hitting on Verizon Galaxy S5 this month, bringing the February 2017 Android Security patches. The update will move the device current Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS from previous version G900VVRS2DQA1 to G900VVRS2DQB2.
This is just a small Over-The-Air (OTA)update that won't even bothers you taking the update. Besides, there are lots of security updates will be hitting on this device this year, and much even more than the prior year.
