Verizon is pushing an OTA update for Galaxy S5 (SM-G900V) containing the March 1, 2017 Android Security patch level. Noting that big red's has also unleashed the Android 7.0 Nougat updates on its Galaxy S6 edge+ and Galaxy Note 5 flagships. Even though the Galaxy S5 will never get any Android 7.0 Nougat treatment, but the Big Red still ensures that the device will receive the Security Maintenance Release (SMR) in a monthly basis.
