Samsung has started the rolling out the monthly Android security maintenance on Galaxy S6 (SM-G920F), Galaxy S6 edge SM-G925F), and Galaxy S6 edge+ (SM-G928F) variants. This update includes the August 2017 Android security patches. The released has now seen available in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Netherlands, and France, and there's no doubt that it will also starts hitting the rest of the European regions in few days.
The August 2017 security maintenance released has 50 patches for Android OS vulnerabilities and 12 for the Samsung's owned applications.
Here the technical details of the updates, noting the released version may vary according to the device country of origin and or mobile network operator.
