Apple's two failed iPhones in 2025

The interest in the iPhone 17 series is high, particularly for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max models, which are outselling their predecessors. The iPhone Air has a different tale to tell; sales haven't been great, with reports showing low demand and major production cuts.  In contrast to the heavily publicized flop of the iPhone Air, there hasn't been much info on how the iPhone 16e is doing in sales. Early reports suggested it was doing pretty well, but it seems that wasn't up to Apple's standards.  Sales of the iPhone 16e and iPhone Air aren't meeting Apple's expectations, as per info from leaker Fixed Focus Digital (source in Chinese). While no exact figures were shared, the leaker suggests that Apple's effort to launch a popular, budget-friendly iPhone hasn't succeeded. Even with the challenges, Apple is still set to roll out successors for both models. The iPhone 17e is anticipated to launch on time in spring 2026, whereas the iPhone Air ...

Most of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Models Expected To Be Powered by Exynos 2600

The speculation has been widespread. Some suggest that the Exynos 2600 application processor (AP), produced by Samsung Foundry using its 2nm GAA technology, will be the driving force behind the majority of the Samsung Galaxy S26 models, including the Galaxy S26 Ultra in certain regions. Previously, Samsung Foundry encountered challenges with the yield of its 3nm production, resulting in a shortage of Exynos 2500 APs for the Galaxy S25 series. The standard Samsung Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra models are all equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor. This marks a shift from previous models, such as the Galaxy S24 series, which used both Snapdragon and Samsung's own Exynos chipsets, depending on the region.  While during Qualcomm's recent earnings call following the release of its fiscal Q4 earnings, the company said that it expected its new Snapdragon chip to be found in 75 percent of the Galaxy S26 handsets. Qualcomm said that it used to expect to get 50 pe...

Apple's first foldable iPhone "iFold" might launch in 2026

Apple reportedly getting ready with essential parts for its first foldable iPhone, indicating that the much-anticipated device might soon be moving into pre-production. A source from the Chinese social media platform Fixed Focus Digital asserts that Apple is increasing its stock of components for its first foldable iPhone.  Although, the leaker did not provide further details regarding the specific components or their quantities. However, it is possible that Apple is in the process of securing supplies for various components, including foldable OLED displays, titanium frames, and hinge assemblies necessary for the operational parts of a foldable smartphone.   Essentially, this action indicates that Apple is commencing the pre-production stage for its inaugural foldable iPhone. This phase involves suppliers starting to manufacture components in advance of full-scale production. The rationale behind this is that certain parts may have extended lead times or potentially a ...
