According to popular tech blogger Digital Chat Station, the Honor Power 2 is set to launch ahead of the Spring Festival. Its battery has received a major upgrade, boasting a massive 10,080mAh capacity, once again breaking industry records, and supporting 80W fast charging for rapid power-ups.
Performance will also see a significant boost. While the previous Honor Power relied on the Snapdragon 7 Gen3, the new Honor Power 2 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500, promising a much smoother and faster experience. Built on TSMC’s 4nm process, the chip features an 8-core Cortex-A725 all-big-core CPU with a max frequency of 3.4GHz and a Mali-G720 GPU running at around 1.5GHz. This setup delivers roughly 2.2 million points on AnTuTu, placing it at the top of mid-range performance and comparable to some Snapdragon 8-series devices, ensuring solid gaming and multitasking capabilities.
The Honor Power 2 doesn’t stop at battery and performance. It sports a 6.79-inch 1.5K flat display with a resolution of 2640×1200, a 50MP rear camera, and a 16MP front camera. Users can choose from three striking colors: Snow White, Midnight Black, and Sunrise Orange.
With its record-breaking battery and powerful Dimensity 8500 chip, the Honor Power 2 is shaping up to be the ultimate mid-range powerhouse for battery life and performance, just in time for Chinese New Year.
